SVC™ Technology at a Glance

SVC™ (Switching, Vacuum, Cooling) Technology creates the most convenient, safe, and controlled treatment experience to benefit both practitioners and patients. Enabling the treatment of areas considered more difficult, such as the neck, décolleté and hands due to the reduction in pain, procedures utilizing SVC™ are suitable for all skin types, throughout the year.

The SVC™’s Cooling feature utilizes advanced TEC technology to prevent epidermal damage, reduce pain, and speed up the recovery process. This protection allows for a safer, more comfortable treatment.

Benefits for Practitioner.

SVC™ Technology delivers unprecedented penetration depth control to practitioner, allowing them to determine the desired biological response, all within one device. The ability to choose an ablative or coagulative solution via the use of one system gives practitioners a significant clinical advantage – the ability to customize their treatments according to patient’s specific needs and symptom treated.

Benefits for Patients.

SVC™ Technology provides increased comfort for patients, both during and after treatments. The minimally Invasive Treatments deliver significantly less pain and reduced downtime, while patients receive outstanding clinical results. Additionally, the risk of PIH (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation) is reduced, making fractional RF treatments a much more attractive alternative to laser technologies for those patients on the Fitzpatrick scale who are more susceptible to suffering from PIH.

SVC™ Technology is incorporated in the V-FR handpiece and is available for use in the V-Series multi-technology platform line. Now your patients can receive the safest, fastest, most comfortable and most effective treatments available.

How SVC™ Technology Works

SVC™ Technology offers groundbreaking advances in the medical aesthetics industry.

First, the Switching mechanism gives physicians full control in depth of RF energy penetration, so treatments can be tailored to individual patient’s needs.  The Switching function controls RF penetration by switching and pairing fractional rows at different distances. As the distance between the electrodes directly influences the depth penetration of RF energy, the ability to control the pairings allows accurate targeting of the desired skin layer. This function is performed via three programs: Shallow, Medium and Deep and provides a significant measure of control to treatments.

The Vacuum mechanism reduces significantly the pain level during the treatments (according to “Gate” theory), ensures proper skin coupling to the fractional tip, while stretching the skin, provides delivery of equal injury points, the elimination of epidermal burns, as well as better handling for the practitioner, making it easier to achieve highly reproducible results.

The thermoelectrically cooled bracket on the electrode array with the Cooling mechanism prevents superficial burns for a safer treatment. This significantly reduces pain and ensures a more pleasant treatment experience for your patients.

Additional feature, the Smart Heat, is generated before each pulse, improving the safety as lower energy levels can be used for precision treatments and better results. The “smart heat” function creates volumetric heating of the target area before releasing the fractional pulse. Since the tissue conductivity of RF energy is significantly correlated to tissue temperature, an increase in skin temperature lowers skin impedance and consequently the target tissue is selectively heated by the RF current.

SVC™ Technology Advantages:

  • The only Fractional Technology that has real depth penetration control (not via energy)
  • The only Fractional Technology that has control over biological response
  • The only Fractional Technology with reduced pain (due to vacuum, cooling, smart-heat)
  • The only fractional system that reduced burns thanks to the vacuum
  • Color-blind – Suitable for all skin types (compered to fractional lasers)
  • Shorter downtime
