Viora's New Production Line
Viora's worldwide growth has led to exciting infrastructure changes - we've upgraded our production line and have moved to manufacture our leading medical aesthetic devices at Flextronics, the world's leading producer of its kind. This development ensures that Viora's products continue to maintain the highest quality possible, in keeping with the expectations of our customers and distributors around the globe. Viora recently completed Regional Training in Europe for the entire product line. Taking place May 14-15 in Berlin, 15 countries were represented with over 30 participants. It was all hands-on-deck with the Reaction™ demos as everyone had an opportunity to practice their skills, under the expert tutelage of Viora’s Clinical team.

Surgery not the answer According to a 2010 study by GBI Research, entitled “The Future of the Medical Aesthetic Devices Market to 2016, there is an increasing demand for minimally and non-invasive procedures. This is not surprising in light of a recent article in the LA Times discussing the effects of liposuction surgery, and how this invasive procedure might not be the answer to body contouring that is hoped for. Researchers followed women who underwent the knife and found that after only one year, no significant change was found in body fat, and in fact reappeared primarily in the abdomen area, regardless of where the original liposuction procedure took place. If surgery, with all the related risks and pain, isn’t all it’s cut out to be, it’s no surprise that non-invasive techniques are the way to go. To read the LA Times article, click here.
