Taking Care of Winter Skin

Now that we’re past the winter solstice and into the New Year, the dead of winter is upon us. There’s nothing we can do to change Mother Nature so all we can do is ride the cold weather out and wait for higher temperatures to arrive. However, even in these chilly days we have to continue to care for our skin as we lose much of our natural moisture by wind, central heating and low humidity. Here are some winter skincare tips to implement to make sure you’re treating your skin right!

· Keep hydrated by drinking water
· Moisturize more frequently
· Avoid very hot baths or showers

Most importantly, don’t forget the sunscreen! Read more about this from Dr. James Chan.
