V-touch uses its unique SVC technology to treat the dermal and epidermal layers as a whole, without targeting specific cells. This controlled thermal effect induces coagulation and necrosis in the deeper epidermal layers and papillary dermis. As a response, the V-touch treatments help create new cells to improve the skin’s overall appearance and tone.
The term “skin resurfacing” refers to the removal of epidermal and dermal structures from the skin. V-touch non-invasive skin resurfacing is based on fractional ablation of the epidermis and inducing a controlled wound in the dermis. Healing of these controlled wounds leads to the replacement of damaged skin cells with a fresh surface of papillary dermis and overlying epidermis.
Epidermal skin irregularities, such as enlarged pores, swollen areas, post acne hyper-pigmented marks and other color variations are due primarily to the accumulation of dead cells, congested and clogged pores, poor circulation and other physiological attributes of aging. Fractional RF with V-touch moderately ablates the epidermis in conjunction with dermal heating.
